The State honorary title of Heroic Vietnamese Mother will be awarded to 319 mothers.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of November 29, the Provincial People's Committee held a meeting to listen to and give opinions on the organization of the ceremony to award the honorary title of Vietnamese Heroic Mother to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in the province. Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the meeting; Attending the meeting were representatives of relevant departments, branches and sectors.

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong delivered a concluding speech at the meeting.

The ceremony to confer and posthumously confer the State honorary title “Heroic Vietnamese Mother” was organized by the Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province, to commemorate the great contributions and sacrifices of Vietnamese mothers who have made many contributions and sacrifices for the cause of national liberation, building and defending the Fatherland; to promote and educate the revolutionary tradition, patriotism and the morality of “When drinking water, remember its source”. According to the plan, the ceremony to confer the State honorary title “Heroic Vietnamese Mother” to heroic Vietnamese mothers in Nghe An province is expected to be held at 2:00 p.m. on December 9, 2014 in Vinh city. During this period, 319 mothers will be conferred and posthumously conferred the State honorary title “Heroic Vietnamese Mother”.

At the meeting, representatives of departments and branches focused on discussing and contributing ideas to develop plans, program content, and scripts for the ceremony; assigning specific responsibilities to each relevant unit. Concluding the meeting, comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong requested relevant departments, branches, and branches of the province and local Party committees, authorities, and organizations at all levels to be responsible for participating in organizing the ceremony according to the plan and assignment, ensuring the ceremony takes place solemnly and successfully.
