Lightning strikes dead in Do Luong

(Baonghean) - At 6:00 p.m. on June 11, Mr. Le Quang Toan and his wife Nguyen Thi Lien, hamlet 4, Quang Son commune, Do Luong, were on their way home from harvesting rice. After a while, it started to rain. During the storm, lightning struck Ms. Lien, who was walking behind the rice cart, burning her from shoulder to back. Despite every effort to save her life, she passed away at the age of 49.

During the spring rice harvest season, which is also the time of storms, tornadoes, lightning... authorities at all levels need to guide farmers on how to prevent tragic accidents like the above from happening.
