SH mode price increased by 3 million VND

The SH mode scooter model is being sold for 52 to 53 million, 3 to 4 million higher than the company's suggested price.

A survey at some authorized Honda Vietnam HEAD dealers in Hanoi on the morning of October 9 showed that the selling price of the SH mode model is higher than the suggested price.

Specifically, depending on the different colors, the dealer will offer different prices for each model. For example, the yellow SH mode, customers can get the car immediately for 52.5 million VND. Some other colors such as black, red, blue have similar prices or 500,000 VND lower. Currently, at some dealers, the white Honda SH mode is out of stock. If users want to get this version, they must deposit money in advance and wait one or two days to receive the car.

After a while of hesitating between the white or yellow SH mode version, Mr. Phuc and his wife Ms. Hong in Kim Lien, Dong Da, decided to choose the yellow one and the dealer reduced the price by 500,000 VND, to 52 million VND, even though they had previously planned to buy the white one.

Speaking to reporters, a representative of HEAD Honda Kuong Ngan (Nguyen Luong Bang, Hanoi) said that the market is generally gloomy but the two SH models, SH mode and SH 2012, are still of interest to buyers. The amount of goods imported from the factory is small, so the selling price is 3 to 5 million VND higher than the suggested price. However, the price changes continuously every day. Today the price may be 52 or 53 million VND, but tomorrow the selling price will be the same as the suggested price or even lower if the quantity of goods imported is larger.

The yellow SH mode is priced at 52.5 million VND.

Also through discussions with many other HEAD dealers in Hanoi, SH 2012 and SH mode are the two profitable models, Honda Lead 125 also increased by about 500,000 VND while other models have to be sold at the suggested price or sold at a loss from 500,000 to 1 million VND.

Honda SH mode was introduced by Honda Vietnam at the end of May, positioned as a high-end but low-priced scooter, with only 49.9 million VND. Overall, this line of vehicles has also made a good impression on Vietnamese customers, who like a luxurious scooter, compact design and reasonable price.
