Nguyen Kim Electronics Supermarket, Da Nang, burned down for the second time

Smoke and fire suddenly broke out at 6:30 p.m. on August 16 at Nguyen Kim electronics supermarket (Thanh Khe District, Da Nang City), causing hundreds of customers and employees to panic and run out like a broken beehive.

Witnesses said they heard a loud explosion before the flames engulfed the area. Shortly after, the entire electricity in the area was cut off, adding to the chaos.

A few minutes later, fire trucks were dispatched to the scene, along with local firefighters, to control and extinguish the fire. However, the sign system and some goods were burned.

Previously, in April 2012, Nguyen Kim Da Nang supermarket also caught fire once due to an electrical short circuit.
