Every Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m., members of the White Blouse Volunteer Club gather at the gate of Vinh Medical University and divide into 6 small groups to collect scrap metal.

Mr. Vu Hai Tung - Chairman said: "Each session like that, there are about 60 - 80 members participating. The club often collects and picks up scrap metal on the streets near the school, such as: Phung Khac Khoan, Ton That Tung, Le Viet Thuat...".

Knowing the meaningful work, many families were willing to collect cans and old books and give them to the students. Late at night, the White Blouse Volunteer Club gathered at the same place to collect the fruits of their labor.

Every evening, the club earns an average of 500,000 - 600,000 VND after selling scrap to scrap collectors. All of this money will be used for volunteer activities in Nghe An.

"Collecting scrap metal not only contributes to protecting the green, clean and beautiful environment, but can also raise funds for charity. I hope that through this meaningful activity, everyone can join hands and contribute for a better future" - shared student Bui Minh Vu, Faculty of Public Health.
