Nghe An Health Sector organizes the 10th Blood Donation Festival 'Pink Drops, White Blouse'
Blood donation festival "Pink drops, white blouse Nghe An" is a practical and humanitarian activity organized annually by the Nghe An health sector.
Towards the 70th anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors' Day February 27 and in response to the "Voluntary Blood Donation Campaign - Pink Spring Festival 2025" of the National Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation in Vietnam, on the morning of January 23, at the Nghe An Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center, the Nghe An Health sector organized the 10th "Pink Drops - White Blouse" Blood Donation Festival.
Attending the festival were leaders of Nghe An Department of Health, Nghe An Provincial Red Cross, medical units in Vinh city and many civil servants, public employees, and workers of medical facilities who came to donate blood to save lives.

The 10th Blood Donation Festival “Giọt hồng Blouse trắng Nghệ An” in 2025 has the message “Donate blood to give life”. More than 1,500 civil servants, public employees, and workers from 34 medical facilities in Vinh city and surrounding areas have registered to donate blood at the festival. The target set for this festival is to collect 1,350 units of blood to supplement the blood supply to treat patients during the Lunar New Year 2025.
In Nghe An, in 2024, the Provincial Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center received 46,778 units of blood (exceeding the target assigned by the Central Government by 112%); prepared and distributed more than 77,000 units of blood and blood products to 43 medical facilities in Nghe An and Ha Tinh. However, during the summer and Lunar New Year, local anemia still occurs, significantly affecting emergency care and treatment.
At the festival, Dr. Nguyen Huu Le - Deputy Director of Nghe An Department of Health expressed his deep gratitude to all cadres, civil servants and employees of the health sector who are always ready to donate their blood to bring life to patients. At the same time, he called on cadres, civil servants and employees in the whole sector to respond to the "Pink Spring Festival 2025", "Nghe An Health Sector Voluntary Blood Donation Festival" - "Pink Drops White Blouse" for the 10th time - 2025./.
