Sir Alex Ferguson returns to replace Moyes?
According to a source posted on the Daily Star, Manchester United's board of directors is planning to find a replacement for David Moyes right before Christmas. Sir Alex Ferguson is likely to return to "steer" the team through the crisis.
Bookmaker Ladbrokes immediately gave the odds of Sir Alex Ferguson returning to lead Manchester United at 10/1. In fact, a representative of Ladbrokes even affirmed that "this is the right time to sack Moyes" and "does not rule out the possibility that Ferguson will also return."

Over the past time, Sir Alex has always followed Manchester United closely in every match. Especially, during the away match at Leverkusen, this former Scottish strategist also went to the stadium to watch.
In addition to Sir Alex, coach Jurgen Klopp is also a strong candidate to replace Moyes. However, this case is unlikely because he previously declared that he wanted to stick with his career with Dortmund.
Manchester United's biggest difficulty in sacking Moyes is the compensation. If they sack Moyes, the amount of compensation they will have to pay will be up to 25 million pounds.
After a 0-1 loss to Newcastle, Manchester United dropped to 9th place, 13 points behind leaders Arsenal and 7 points behind the top 4.
