SLNA regrettably shared points with Quang Ninh at Cua Ong Stadium

Playing away at Cua Ong Stadium, SLNA took the field with a lineup that had many changes. With the absence of Phan Van Duc, midfielder Nguyen Quang Tinh was placed in the winger position. Midfielder Cao Xuan Thang played against Quang Nam but this time, striker Ho Tuan Tai was arranged by coach Duc Thang to start from the beginning.

In the second half, Ho Tuan Tai had to leave the field due to injury to make way for defender Nguyen Sy Nam. From here, the match became more open and exciting. After SLNA continuously made Tien Linh's goal unstable, Sidney Adam immediately responded with a shot but the ball went wide.

In the 76th minute, Michael Olaha and Khac Ngoc created the most regrettable moment of the match. Olaha sent a sharp pass into the Quang Ninh penalty area and Khac Ngoc ran down to receive the ball, handled it very well to eliminate the opponent's pursuit and then finished in the far corner but the post denied the goal of the SLNA conductor.

Immediately after that, Nghiem Xuan Tu showed his danger. The Quang Ninh midfielder neatly controlled a long pass from his teammate and when he realized that no one was rushing forward to support, the Quang Ninh midfielder was forced to choose the solution of finishing immediately. Midfielder Ho Khac Ngoc was chosen as the best player of the match; SLNA ended round 2 with 4 points and temporarily climbed to 3rd place on the rankings after Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi.
