SLNA finalizes the registration list for V-League 2022

On February 25, V.League will officially start, but SLNA has been preparing quite thoroughly for many months. Right after Tet, the Nghe An team basically completed the squad and playing style, waiting for the tournament to start.

According to the Organizing Committee's regulations, today (February 12) is the deadline for clubs participating in V-League 2022 to finalize the list of domestic players competing in phase 1. As for foreign players, each team will be able to preliminarily register their players to compete in the first 3 rounds before finalizing the official list.

This season, with its abundant financial resources, SLNA has retained many key players. In particular, two stars Xuan Manh and Van Duc will continue to stay with the Vinh team for a long time. In addition, the club has also brought in many leading stars of Vietnamese football such as: Que Ngoc Hai, Trong Hoang, Tran Dinh Hoang.

Regarding foreign players, although there are no big-name contracts like Hanoi or HAGL, the Nghe An team still brings in players with quite good professional quality, able to meet the requirements set by the coaching board.

This year, due to the unpredictable developments of the pandemic, the Organizing Committee has decided that each club participating in V-League 2022 will be allowed to register 35 players. This will help the club have enough people to replace in case an athlete is infected with Covid-19.

On February 25, SLNA will have the opening match of V.League against Binh Duong at Go Dau stadium.
