SLNA before the second leg of Eximbank V.League 2011: Flow, river!
It's still too early to say "champion" because V. League 2011 is only halfway through, but with what the Nghe An team has done, we can believe and hope for a good ending when the season ends.
Exactly ten years since SLNA won the highest tournament in Vietnam, Nghe An football fans can once again live in the passionate atmosphere of football.
The change was a turning point last season with the "return" of Mr. Nguyen Hong Thanh with his professional football approach and then the coach position was the former famous player of Nghe An football Nguyen Huu Thang.
At the end of the first leg of V.League 2011, SLNA firmly held the top position with 29 points, 4 points more than the ambitious SHB.DN. The success, in addition to the investment of the provincial leaders and sponsors, is also a great mark of the talent of Coach Huu Thang, with flexible tactics and reasonable use of people and formation. It is also impossible not to mention the factors that make up the strength of SLNA.
It is a group of young domestic players who want to prove their ability and desire more than ever such as: Huy Hoang, Trong Hoang, Van Binh, Van Hoan, Helio... are quality foreign players that any team in V.League wants to have such as: Bryan, Diego, Devon. Victory after victory has attracted the audience to the stadium. It can be said that the great spiritual strength of the "twelfth player" of SLNA is the yellow-filled stands of the Fan Club regardless of home or away field.
The two-week break will be an opportunity for teams to consolidate their forces and increase their strength. Lessons from previous seasons also show that the team that leads the first leg can play very poorly in the second leg (SHB. DN last season is an example). SLNA's position this season is very different and the way opponents perceive it is also more careful. Initial successes can make many players complacent or pressured to not be able to play at their best. Having to stretch their strength in both the domestic tournament and the AFC Cup is also a huge pressure.
It can be said that never before have Nghe An fans been so happy and hopeful. Flow, "River"!
