Department of Education and Training signed a cooperation agreement with the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of November 12, the Department of Education and Training and the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs held a signing ceremony for the Cooperation Program between the two sectors for the period 2015 - 2020..

The signing focuses on 19 contents in 4 main areas: training, vocational training, career guidance and orientation; child care and protection; gender equality and women's advancement; and prevention of social evils.

Each unit shall base on the contents of the coordination program to direct the specialized departments and related affiliated units to organize effective implementation. Periodically once a year, a preliminary review, assessment, and supplement of the contents will be organized to suit the reality and current regulations.

For many years, the Department of Education and Training and the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs have coordinated and implemented in many fields. Notably, projects on vocational training socialization, development of high-quality human resource training facilities, implementation of gender equality activities, and prevention of social evils in schools and vocational training facilities have been developed.

Based on the achieved results, from the 2015-2016 school year, for the first time, the Department of Education and Training and the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs organized the signing of a Work Coordination Program with the aim of improving operational efficiency.

Implementing this program, in the next 5 years, the tasks of the two sectors will be assigned more specifically, contributing to creating changes in task implementation, especially in the field of training.
