More than 1,500 opportunities are coming to retired soldiers and police officers at Vocational College No. 4 - Ministry of National Defense in this year's enrollment season. Students will also enjoy many preferential policies and regimes and have many opportunities to find jobs.
Expanding learning opportunities
Two years ago, despite achieving a high school graduation score of 26.5 points, Nguyen Trong Can (Thanh Thinh commune, Thanh Chuong district) still decided to volunteer for military service.
After completing his duty, the young soldier who had enlisted in Brigade 283 decided to learn a trade and enrolled in metal cutting. This was also his favorite major and had studied it more than a month before at"Career Counseling, Vocational Education and Job Introduction" Festivalfor young men who are about to complete their military service in 2025.

After 2 years of completing my military service, I have grown up, matured and gained a lot of experience. Therefore, at this time, I think I have enough luggage to start a new journey to find job opportunities. In the near future, I will study metal cutting and register to learn a foreign language. After graduation, I will go to work abroad or go to college to improve my skills.

One month after the young soldiers completed their military service, on the morning of February 13,Vocational College No. 4 – Ministry of National DefenseThe first batch of admissions for 2025 has begun for demobilized soldiers and police.

Accompanying the demobilized soldiers and police on the first day of completing procedures were many parents from Nghe An, Ha Tinh provinces and some provinces in the North Central region.
Ms. Tran Thi Kim Oanh (Duc Tho district, Ha Tinh province) - mother of student Phan Anh Hoa said: After he completed his military service at the Ha Tinh Border Guard, the family's wish was for him to have a career to stabilize his future. Before that, he went with his father to learn about the school and registered for the automotive technology major. Today, he officially enrolled, I went with him to encourage him and stabilize his food and accommodation.

To prepare to welcome students to school, the reception, consultation and support work is planned and assigned specifically to each relevant department and office by the Board of Directors of Vocational College No. 4.
Among the students who came to complete the procedures today, there were more than 1,000 demobilized soldiers who registered to enroll right at the "Career Counseling, Vocational Education and Job Introduction" festival for soldiers about to complete their military service.
The rest, after being introduced by the unit and teammates, also went directly to the departments, majors and consulting departments to receive support and introduction to suitable majors and careers.

Before enrolling, many students want to be consulted about the study program and job opportunities after graduation. In fact, not only our department but also many other professions have very high job demand. With the elementary program, students will be trained at school for 6 months and do an internship at a business for 3 months (or longer). During the internship, they will be paid and can be recruited immediately after graduation. Immediately after being consulted, there were about 100 applications for admission, accounting for about 70% of the department's quota.

Many job opportunities
In addition to registering for admission, today, many discharged soldiers also came to Vocational College No. 4 - Ministry of National Defense to seek opportunities to work abroad. Tran Van Hai, who enlisted in the 375th Air Defense Division (Air Defense - Air Force), is one of the oldest discharged soldiers in this batch.

Five years ago, after graduating from grade 12, Hai hoped to study at a military school. Unable to fulfill this dream, Hai worked for three years and then decided to join the army. At an old age, Hai said that after completing his service, he would register for a short vocational course or possibly work abroad, especially in the Taiwanese market because he has relatives working there.
We have worked with Vocational College No. 4 - Ministry of National Defense to advise and recruit many workers to work or study abroad, mostly in Taiwan, Japan and are expanding to European countries. Working with partners, we see that businesses are very interested in demobilized soldiers and police because they have been trained and studied in the military environment, so they are agile, disciplined and healthy. During the procedure, demobilized soldiers and police also have many preferential policies, especially regarding loans.

This is a labor export program for skilled workers with low costs, about 40 million VND. If registered, students will be taught basic welding or metal cutting.
In the case of demobilized soldiers, students will be completely exempted from primary vocational training fees, and will receive support for transportation and living expenses. Before that, in 2024, over 90% of demobilized soldiers and police officers will have stable jobs after graduating.
Implement well the policy for demobilized soldiers and police.
