After enjoying the dances and songs imbued with Nghe An culture performed by the Art Troupe of the education sector, the meeting listened to the Director of the Department of Education and Training - Le Van Ngo report on some main features of the province's achievements in the field of education and training.
In recent years, Nghe An has had positive changes in terms of quality and quantity in the field of education. The number of students admitted to colleges and universities has continuously increased and is among the top in the country. In the 2012 university entrance exam alone, Nghe An had 77 students scoring 27 points or more, ranking 3rd in the country.
The director also pointed out some difficulties and shortcomings that need to be overcome in the field of education and training in the coming time. He affirmed that in that common achievement, there are worthy contributions from the typical teachers of Nghe An who are living and working in the province and all over the country. He also hopes that the typical teachers present today, with their intelligence and experience, will continue to make valuable contributions so that the education and training sector of the province will develop further and achieve higher achievements.

Speaking at the meeting, Associate Professor, Dr. Van Nhu Cuong emotionally recalled the years of studying in his hometown, especially the years of studying at Huynh Thuc Khang School more than half a century ago; he expressed his joy at the great results in the field of education and training that his province has achieved as well as his concerns about teaching and learning methods in the current situation. Associate Professor, Dr. Van Nhu Cuong hopes that in the coming time, Nghe An students will promote the tradition of diligence and intelligence of Nghe An people to achieve even higher results.
