Department of Transport: Giving gifts to students of Keng Du commune on the occasion of the new school year

(Baonghean.vn) - On August 29, Nghe An Department of Transport visited Keng Du commune (Ky Son district) and gave gifts to students in the border area on the occasion of the new school year 2014-2015.

This is an activity within the program to support and help poor communes under the direction of the Provincial People's Committee. The Department's leaders presented two savings books, each worth 5 million VND, to two students in especially difficult circumstances and 20 bunk beds to Keng Du Secondary School students, and 50 sets of books to primary school students in the commune.

Mr. Moong Pho Son - Huoi Le village - Keng Du received a herd of goats donated by the Department of Transport.

In addition, the Department also donated 50 goats to poor households in the commune to develop livestock farming, increase income, and gradually eliminate hunger and reduce poverty sustainably. The total amount of support from the Department of Transport this time for Keng Du commune is worth 107 million VND.
