Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs: Giving account books and supporting house repairs in Luong Minh commune
(Baonghean.vn) - Implementing the policy of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee in Decision No. 2021/QD-UBND dated May 13, 2014 on assigning agencies and units to help poor communes in the Western region of Nghe An province, the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs was assigned to help Luong Minh commune - Tuong Duong district.
On August 12, 2014, the working delegation of the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs of Nghe An led by Mr. Nguyen Dang Duong - Deputy Director of the Department presented Savings Books and supported housing upgrades for lonely elderly people and those in difficult circumstances in Luong Minh commune, Tuong Duong district. On this occasion, the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs directly presented 10 savings books, with a total amount of 50 million VND to 10 households of lonely elderly people and those in difficult circumstances in Luong Minh commune.

On this occasion, the delegation also visited and supported money to repair the house of Mrs. Luong Ba Huong's family in Dua village, Luong Minh commune. This is a single elderly household with especially difficult circumstances, no longer able to work. Mrs. Huong also has to raise 2 orphaned grandchildren. The total amount of money to help the above subjects is worth 55 million VND, donated by the daily salary of cadres, civil servants, and public employees of the Department and units under the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs.
