Design and display
Both models have Gorilla Glass Victus 2 backs, flat displays with punch-hole cameras, and rounded corners. However, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge stands out with its ultra-slim design (5.8mm), taller and wider (158.2 x 75.6mm) than the Samsung Galaxy S25 (146.9 x 70.5 x 7.2mm). The S25 Edge uses a premium titanium frame, while the S25 uses aluminum. The weights are similar: the S25 Edge weighs 163g, the S25 weighs 162g.
In terms of color, the Samsung Galaxy S25 has more options such as Ice Blue, Mint Green, Navy Blue, Silver Metallic, Rose Gold, Coral Red and Blue Black;
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is available in only Titan Ice Blue, Titan Silver, and Titan Black. Both are IP68 water and dust resistant (submerged in 1.5m for 30 minutes).
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge screen is larger at 6.7 inches, 1440 x 3120 resolution, 513 PPI pixel density, while the S25 has a 6.2-inch, 1080 x 2340, 416 PPI screen. Both use AMOLED panels, 120Hz refresh rate, but the S25 Edge is sharper. However, the S25 screen is still rated as bright, good display in sunlight.

Camera
The S25 Edge has a 200MP f/1.7 main camera, which is superior in resolution compared to the S25's 50MP f/1.8 camera. Both have a 12MP f/2.2 ultra-wide camera and a 12MP f/2.2 front camera, supporting 8K video recording.
However, the S25 has an additional 10MP f/2.4 telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, while the S25 Edge only has the main and ultra-wide cameras, although it still supports 2x optical zoom from the main sensor. The S25's camera is rated to take excellent photos in all lighting conditions.

Battery
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge has a 3,900mAh battery, slightly smaller than the S25's 4,000mAh. Due to the larger screen, the S25 Edge only gets 24 hours of video playback, while the S25 gets up to 29 hours.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 is rated to have “excellent battery life, best in its class.” Both support 25W fast charging and 15W wireless charging.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge impresses with its ultra-slim design, large, sharp screen, and 200MP camera, but it lacks a telephoto camera and has a less durable battery than the S25. Meanwhile, the S25 is more compact, more versatile with a telephoto camera, and is significantly cheaper.

At a price tag of $300 more, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge needs to justify its value through design and real-world experience. Which option is worth the extra money depends on your needs!
