Department of Natural Resources and Environment: Promoting administrative reform, improving public ethics
(Baonghean.vn) -This morning (January 8), the Department of Natural Resources and Environment held a conference to review the management of natural resources and environment in 2012 and deploy tasks for 2013. Comrade Dinh Viet Hong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee attended and directed the conference.
In 2012, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment continued to implement the plan to simplify administrative procedures; to do well in land allocation, land lease, land recovery, site clearance compensation and issuance of land use right certificates. In the past year, the Department granted land use right certificates to 1,239 organizations; advised the Provincial People's Committee to allocate and lease new land for 116 files; to recover and compensate for site clearance for 269 projects. Up to now, the Department has carried out the work of measuring and making cadastral maps in conjunction with the work of declaring, registering, preparing files for granting land use right certificates, house ownership rights and other assets attached to land for individual households in 250 communes and wards in 17 districts and cities. In particular, the Department has paid attention to the land conversion work according to Directive 08 of the Provincial Party Committee. Up to now, the whole province has 363 communes implementing land consolidation and plot exchange, of which 32 communes have implemented land allocation in the field. The Department has also continued to promote and achieved many results in the fields of environmental management, mineral resources management, water resources, marine and island hydrometeorology.

Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dinh Viet Hong acknowledged the efforts of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment in 2012, and at the same time requested the Department to continue to strengthen state management to create positive changes in the fields of land management, minerals, environmental protection, sea and islands, water resources, etc. Pay attention to advising on the development of legal documents related to state management in the fields under the management of the Department. Advise the province to handle violations, especially land allocation and granting beyond authority, land allocation to the wrong subjects. Resolutely direct the handling of establishments causing environmental pollution; Inspect, supervise after granting licenses for mineral exploitation, land allocation, environmental protection; Promote inspection activities of key tasks and tasks assigned by the province, including Directive 08 of the Provincial Standing Committee on plantation plot exchange, land accumulation, and increasing value per unit area; Granting land use right certificates to households; focusing on handling pesticide residue points; promoting the implementation of key programs, projects and plans of the industry as well as administrative reform, improving public ethics of cadres and civil servants in the entire industry.
