In the first 6 months of the year, the Department of Information and Communications has vigorously deployed the application of IT in State management activities: successfully organized 5 online meetings; 66 units used the province's email system with 5,284 email accounts; Deployed document management software and operated the M-Office mobile office at 16 units in the province. Effectively operated and maintained the province's electronic information portal stably at the addresswww.nghean.vn. Perform well the task of ensuring network safety and information security to serve socio-economic activities, maintaining communication in all situations.

Maintain quality monthly and quarterly press conferences; Manage and support enterprises in developing infrastructure and postal and telecommunications services, developing BTS stations, and operating communal cultural post offices. Up to now, the whole province has 2,536 BTS stations, fiber optic cables to 100% of district centers, post offices III, 404 communal cultural post offices; telephone subscriber density is estimated at 128.7 subscribers/100 people; broadband internet subscribers are estimated at 21.1 subscribers/100 people. Total postal and telecommunications revenue is estimated at 1,868.4 billion VND.

At the conference, leaders of departments, specialized offices and districts discussed solutions to effectively implement tasks in the last 6 months of the year. In particular, focusing on implementing the National Target Program "Bringing information to grassroots, mountainous, remote, border and island areas"; Building IT parks; strengthening specialized State management tasks.
