Department of Construction meets with a delegation of former German experts

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of October 1, the Department of Construction met with a delegation of former German experts who supported the reconstruction of Vinh city after the war. Attending the meeting was comrade Vo Viet Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of Vinh City Party Committee.

After the war, many of Vinh city's infrastructures were severely damaged. With the help of Germany, Vinh city was quickly rebuilt. At that time, 214 German officials and experts directly came to help develop architecture, construction, mechanical construction and training of human resources for the construction industry. Also during this time, Germany invested in building 25 factories and enterprises producing construction materials in Vinh. This is a solid foundation to help Vinh city develop as it is today.
