Accordingly, the Department directed relevant units to continue implementing plans to protect or relocate medical facilities to ensure absolute safety for patients, medical staff as well as medical equipment in low-lying areas and areas at risk of flooding and landslides. Medical facilities organized on-duty shifts, emergency care, and prepared adequate medicine and medical equipment to be ready to receive and provide emergency care to victims affected by storms, floods, and landslides to minimize human losses.

In addition, direct environmental sanitation, food safety, and prevent diseases that may develop after floods such as dengue fever, diarrhea, pink eye, etc.; Medical staff need to actively guide people on how to practice hygiene in daily life, eat cooked food and drink boiled water, disinfect water sources, maintain hygiene, and prevent infectious diseases and the spread of pathogens.
