Department of Health: Meeting with the press on the occasion of Vietnam Doctors' Day (February 27, 2012)

At the meeting, journalists heard a report on the sector's performance last year. In 2011, despite many difficulties, the health sector was still assessed by the province as a year of truly promoting solidarity and excellently completing assigned tasks. The sector was proposed by the Provincial Emulation Council to be awarded an excellent emulation flag by the Provincial People's Committee, 2 doctors were proposed to be awarded the title of People's Physician, 13 doctors were proposed to be awarded the title of Meritorious Physician...

Press agency representatives give advice to the Department of Health in communication work

Last year, out of a total of 60 contents reported by newspapers on Nghe An province, the health sector had 3 contents requested by competent authorities to respond and responded to all 3 contents, reaching a rate of 100%. At the same time, it responded to 4 contents when newspapers raised them, without any request for response from competent authorities. Central and local newspapers and radio stations reported articles reflecting the activities of the health sector, contributing to raising people's knowledge in health care work. Here, journalists also gave many opinions to the sector from the issue of improving medical ethics to professional activities so that the sector can soon overcome them.

On behalf of the industry, Director of Nghe An Department of Health - Doctor Pham Van Thanh thanked the press for their support in the past time, and hoped that the press agencies would continue to coordinate more closely to effectively propagate the successes and difficulties of the industry in the coming time.
