Nghe An Department of Health visits and gives gifts to hospitals and patients in difficult circumstances
(Baonghean.vn) - On February 7, Nghe An Department of Health organized 4 working groups to inspect disease prevention and control activities, medical examination and treatment before Tet and visit and give gifts to hospitals, medical centers and disadvantaged patients being treated there.

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2024, the leaders of Nghe An Department of Health and Nghe An Health Sector Trade Union organized inspection teams to inspect disease prevention and control, medical examination and treatment before Tet and visit, encourage and support medical staff and patients treated at hospitals and medical centers on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2024.
On the morning of February 7, the delegations inspected the work of disease prevention and control, medical examination and treatment before Tet; visited and presented gifts at Thanh Chuong General Hospital, Nam Dan Medical Center, Hung Nguyen Medical Center, medical units in Dien Chau district and Nghi Loc district.
On the same afternoon, the delegations inspected, visited and presented gifts at Nghe An General Friendship Hospital, Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital, 115 General Hospital, Nghe An Oncology Hospital, Nghe An Trauma and Orthopedics Hospital and Nghe An Lung Hospital.

Working with the inspection team of Nghe An Department of Health and Nghe An Health Sector Trade Union, medical units reported on preparations for disease prevention and control, ensuring medical examination and treatment activities before, during and after Tet.
Accordingly, following the direction of the Department of Health, hospitals and medical centers have planned to be on duty 24/7; ensure adequate supplies of medicine, blood, infusion fluids, supplies, chemicals, medical equipment, and medical oxygen; prepare emergency plans; be ready to respond and serve treatment and emergency care, especially emergency care for injuries, food poisoning, and treatment of patients with infectious diseases during Tet.
Hospitals and medical centers have also thoroughly instructed medical staff to strictly follow hospital rules and regulations; ensure security and order, ensure nutrition logistics; visit and give Tet gifts to inpatients, especially those in difficult circumstances, the poor, and policy beneficiaries; fully and promptly implement policies and regimes for medical staff during Tet.

Visiting and working with hospitals and medical centers, comrade Nguyen Thi Hong Hoa - Director of Nghe An Department of Health praised and highly appreciated the efforts of units and doctors in developing expertise and techniques; building a green - clean - beautiful unit environment; taking care of the lives of officers and employees; promoting social security activities; especially the initiative in ensuring disease prevention and control, medical examination and treatment during Tet.
The Director of Nghe An Department of Health requested that the Tet shift of hospitals and medical centers always be ready to perform emergency tasks outside the hospital and support and assist lower-level hospitals; medical staff and workers need to raise awareness of serving patients and their families when they come for examination and treatment during Tet.

Comrade Nguyen Thi Hong Hoa sent New Year greetings - new victories to hospitals and medical centers; wished all doctors, cadres, medical staff and their families a happy new year, full of joy, and a warm and safe Tet.
On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2024, the delegation of Nghe An Department of Health and Nghe An Health Sector Trade Union presented gifts to hospitals and medical centers; visited, presented gifts to encourage and support medical staff in difficult circumstances and patients being treated here.
Sharing with the patient, comrade Nguyen Thi Hong Hoa expressed her wish that the patient and his/her relatives continue to actively treat and overcome the disease to soon return home to reunite with their families.

It is known that nearly 1,000 patients in difficult circumstances received gifts and support from the Nghe An Department of Health and the Nghe An Health Trade Union on this occasion. The total value of the gifts is nearly 1 billion VND, taken from the Fund for the Poor of Nghe An province.
Nearly 500 medical staff in difficult circumstances were also given Tet gifts by the Nghe An Department of Health and the Nghe An Health Sector Trade Union.
