(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of February 7, a delegation of officials from the Nghe An Department of Health led by Meritorious Doctor - BSCK2 Bui Dinh Long - Director of the Department of Health visited, presented gifts and donated houses of gratitude to the poor and policy families in Yen Tinh commune - Tuong Duong district.

Donating money to support the construction of a house of gratitude for the family of Mrs. Luong Thi Dung in Pa Ty village - Yen Tinh commune, whose husband and 2 children were infected with Agent Orange.

The delegation of the Department of Health organized the giving of 40 gifts to 40 families in difficult circumstances in Yen Tinh commune - Tuong Duong district, each gift worth 500,000 VND and 40 gifts to poor but excellent students of the commune, each gift worth 100,000 VND. In particular, the delegation visited and presented money to support the construction of gratitude houses for 2 families with special difficult circumstances: Mr. Vi Van Vuong's family in Hat village - Yen Tinh commune whose son is a martyr and Mrs. Luong Thi Dung's family in Pa Ty village - Yen Tinh commune whose husband and 2 children were infected with Agent Orange. Each gratitude house is worth 50,000,000 VND.

Also on this occasion, on February 6, the Department of Health also sent 16 doctors, pharmacists, nurses with modern equipment to Yen Tinh commune to organize health consultation, examination, and free medicine for over 210 people who are policy families, people with meritorious services to the revolution, and the elderly. The total cost for this examination was over 20 million VND.
