'Shocked' Ukrainian military commander just shot down his own soldier in Donbass
The commander of one of the Ukrainian army units in Donbass shot dead his subordinates as they were about to leave their positions, Ivan Filiponenko.
According to the press service staff of the LNR People's Police, on June 18, in the Troitskoe residential area, the commander of one of the units of the 30th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, while in a drunken state, opened fire on three soldiers who were trying to leave their positions.

The soldiers were seriously injured, but the brigade commander covered up the incident. The soldiers were treated in a hospital in the Troitskoie district and one of them died.
The DNR has repeatedly noted that the psychological state of security personnel is deteriorating. Soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine commit robberies and brawls while drunk, cases leading to desertion and suicide are frequent.
