According to SOHR, these airstrikes were "most likely carried out by Russia".
The SOHR said the air strikes targeted the town of Ariha, controlled by the Army of Conquest - a rebel alliance mainly made up of Islamist rebel groups, including the Al-Nusra Front, an offshoot of the international Al-Qaeda terrorist network.
According to SOHR, several areas of the town have been attacked and rescue operations are underway with several people seriously injured.
The Army of Conquest has been holding Ariha since May after fierce fighting with Syrian government forces. Russia has previously carried out airstrikes on several positions of this rebel alliance in Idlib./.
