(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of August 6, the Korean Embassy in Vietnam, the Department of International Cooperation, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Korean Cultural Center and the People's Committee of Vinh City jointly organized the program "Summer Melodies - Sounds from Korea".
Attending the event were Mr. Jun Dae Joo, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea, Park Nark Jong, Cultural Counselor, Director of the Korean Cultural Center in Vietnam; Ms. Lee Su Jeong, First Secretary of the Korean Embassy and members of the working delegation. On the side of Nghe An province, there were leaders of the Department of Foreign Affairs, Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism, leaders of Vinh City People's Committee and a large number of people and students of the city.

Summer Melodies from Korean Sounds 2015 is part of the cultural exchange program between Vietnam and Korea. Participating in this program, art troupes from the land of Kim Chi presented to the audience in Vinh city many diverse performances from traditional music, classical music, traditional Korean percussion instruments to modern K-pop popular music.
The program is held for the second time in Vietnam and the first time in Vinh city, which is an opportunity to enhance understanding of Korean culture. At the same time, it is an opportunity for the audience to interact and get acquainted with many famous artists, further promoting cultural exchange between Vietnam and Korea.

Over the past 20 years, there have been many cultural exchange activities between art troupes of the two countries, creating conditions for people to access and enjoy the quintessence and cultural identity of each country. From there, we can together foster cultural values, human values, and build the culture of the two nations to develop more and more.
