Vietnam Book Day April 21 was officially named after Decision No. 284/QD-TTg, dated February 24, 2014 of the Prime Minister. This is an activity organized on a national scale to affirm the role, position and importance of books in social life. At the same time, it honors those who participate in collecting, composing, publishing, distributing, preserving and promoting books.
At Vinh University, this is the second year the school has organized “Vietnam Book Day and World Book and Copyright Day” with many rich activities such as exhibitions, introducing some typical books and works, listening to talks about books and learning, watching films about books and library systems around the world. Through these activities, it is aimed to raise students’ awareness of the value and importance of reading culture for education, training and personality formation of each student. From there, encourage and form the habit of reading - creating an important foundation for improving the quality of training, learning and scientific research of students in the whole school.
