Exciting volleyball tournament to celebrate 60 years of Vietnam Youth Union tradition

(Baonghean.vn) -On October 14-15, at Vinh City Gymnasium, the "3-player Volleyball Tournament" was held by the Vinh City Youth Union.

This is an activity to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Vietnam Youth Union's Traditional Day (October 15, 1956 - October 15, 2016).

Participating in the tournament are 4 clusters: Ward and commune clusters, enterprise clusters, school clusters, and city People's Committee clusters. Ward and commune clusters are divided into 6 groups, each group has 4 wards and communes in Vinh City. The teams compete in a knockout format. The athletes are cadres and youth union members of the clusters.

During the 2 days of competition, the athletes gave the audience many exciting and dramatic matches.

In the end, the first prize went to the school cluster, the second prize went to the business cluster.

In addition, as part of the series of activities to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Vietnam Youth Union, Vinh City Youth Union also organized many other cultural and sports activities such as cooking contest, breaking, sack jumping, etc.
