Fund for the Poor of Nghe An Provincial Journalists Association

The 12th Nghe An Journalists' Association Cup Football Tournament - 2024 takes place in 3 days (from June 14-16) at Vinh University's stadium. This tournament has nearly 90 athletes from 6 teams, including: Nghe An Radio - Television Journalists' Association; Nghe An Newspaper Journalists' Association; Nghe An Press Club; Association of resident journalists and reporters in Nghe An; Cluster of Cultural - Sports - Communication Centers of districts, cities and towns; Football team of lecturers of Vinh University.

After 3 days of organization, there were 9 matches and 38 goals were scored. In which, the Final match was attended by the Vinh University Lecturers' Team and Nghe An Press Club. After 50 minutes of competition, the Vinh University Lecturers' Team won with a score of 3-1 to take the championship.

According to the Organizing Committee, this year's participating teams have made great progress in terms of technique, tactics and competitive spirit. The matches have brought the audience beautiful and professional football.

At the end of the tournament, in addition to the Cup and gold medals awarded to the Vinh University Lecturers' Football Team, the Organizing Committee also awarded the Second Prize to the Nghe An Journalism Club and the Third Prize was awarded simultaneously to two teams: the Association of Resident Journalists and Reporters in Nghe An and the Cluster of Cultural - Sports - Communication Centers of districts, cities and towns. The Nghe An Radio - Television Journalists Association and the Nghe An Newspaper Journalists Association won the Style and Dedication awards.

In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded secondary prizes for Best Player and Best Goalkeeper.

After the Closing Ceremony, the Vinh University Lecturer's Football Team donated the entire First Prize prize money worth 10 million VND to the Fund for the Poor of the Nghe An Provincial Journalists Association.
