(Baonghean.vn) - Buffalo fighting festival took place on April 30, 2015 in Cam Son commune - Anh Son
This is the first time Cam Son commune has organized a large-scale buffalo fighting competition. The competition has attracted 32 buffalo owners with 32 fighting buffaloes from communes in Anh Son district and some other localities such as Con Cuong, Do Luong. A total of 32 fighting buffaloes were divided into 16 pairs of knockout matches to select 8 pairs (16 fighting buffaloes) to enter the final round. As planned, the final round will take place on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 2015).
The buffalo fighting competition in Cam Son commune took place enthusiastically, attracting tens of thousands of people to come and cheer. Here are some pictures of the buffalo fighting festival:
