Phu Dong Sports Festival aims to maintain and promote the movement of practicing and competing in sports in schools, contributing to improving health, physical development and comprehensive education for students. At the same time, it aims to discover, select and nurture athletes with qualities to participate in the Phu Dong Sports Festival in the whole province in the coming time.

* The 8th Phu Dong Sports Festival of Dien Chau District High School opened on December 9 at Dien Chau 2 High School.

The Phu Dong Sports Festival has nearly 600 athletes from 9 high schools in the district. The athletes compete in 9 sports including: Soccer, Table Tennis, Volleyball, Badminton, Shuttlecock, Chess, Athletics, Pole Pushing and Vovinam with 79 events.

The competition will take place on December 9 and 10. The organizing committee will select athletes with high achievements to participate in the Provincial Phu Dong Sports Festival.

Phu Dong Sports Festival is a sports activity held every two years to promote the sports movement following the example of great Uncle Ho, while improving the quality of physical education in schools.
