Exciting Contest of 'Excellent Grassroots Trade Union Officers' in Vinh City

Attending the event were representatives of the Provincial Federation of Labor, representatives of the leaders of the Party building committees of the City Party Committee, political organizations, departments, branches and nearly 100 candidates who are chairmen, vice chairmen, and members of the executive committee of grassroots trade unions representing more than 700 people.union officerThe base comes from 21 ward and commune trade union clusters under the Vinh City Labor Federation.

The 2024 "Excellent Grassroots Union Cadre" Contest is a practical program to celebrate the 79th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2024) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2024).

This is also an opportunity to raise awareness among grassroots trade union officials about the role, position, functions and tasks of the Trade Union organization, thereby, mastering the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws and the Trade Union organization, especially the Resolution of the Trade Union Congress at all levels, term 2023 - 2028.

The Organizing Committee hopes that through the competition, it will be possible to evaluate the qualifications, capacity, skills, and practical working methods of the grassroots Trade Union staff, thereby developing appropriate training and development plans to meet the requirements and tasks of the Trade Union organization in the new period.At the same time, it is an opportunity for grassroots union officials to exchange and learn experiences, contributing to strengthening and building an increasingly strong union organization.

Accordingly, the contest consists of 3 parts. Part 1 is the introductory video clip with a maximum duration of 5 minutes, which will be scored by the Board of Judges on August 1.

At the contest, the teams continued to part 2 - general knowledge test, answering 20 multiple choice questions on the computer arranged by the organizers within a maximum of 5 minutes. Part 3 is the parttalent show, each performance lasts no more than 7 minutes.

After a period of exciting competition with many outstanding performances, the organizing committee awarded 1 first prize, 3 second prizes, 5 third prizes, 11 consolation prizes and 2 secondary prizes to the competing teams.
