The "Outstanding Grassroots Trade Union Cadre" competition in Vinh City was a resounding success.

Attending the event were representatives from the Provincial Labor Union, leaders from the Party building departments of the City Party Committee, political organizations, departments, and nearly 100 contestants who are presidents, vice presidents, and executive committee members of grassroots trade unions representing more than 700trade union officialsThe units come from 21 ward and commune trade union clusters under the Vinh City Federation of Labor.

The "Outstanding Grassroots Trade Union Cadre" competition in 2024 is a practical program to celebrate the 79th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 – August 19, 2024) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 – September 2, 2024).

This is also an opportunity to raise awareness among grassroots trade union officials about the role, position, functions, and tasks of the trade union organization, thereby ensuring they understand the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and regulations, and the trade union organization's policies, especially the Resolutions of the Trade Union Congress at all levels for the 2023-2028 term.

The organizers hope that the competition will assess the level, capacity, skills, and practical working methods of grassroots trade union officials, thereby developing appropriate training and development plans to meet the requirements of the trade union organization in the new era.At the same time, it is an opportunity for grassroots trade union officials to exchange ideas, learn from each other's experiences, and contribute to strengthening and building a more robust trade union organization.

Accordingly, the competition consists of three parts. Part 1 is a video clip competition with a maximum duration of 5 minutes, which will be judged by the Judging Panel on August 1st.

In the competition, the teams proceeded to Part 2 – the general knowledge test, answering 20 multiple-choice questions on a computer provided by the organizers within a maximum of 5 minutes. Part 3 is the next section.talent competitionEach performance lasts no more than 7 minutes.

After a lively competition with many outstanding performances, the organizing committee awarded 1 first prize, 3 second prizes, 5 third prizes, 11 consolation prizes, and 2 special prizes to the participating teams.
