Song Lam Nghe An defeated HAGL on the opening day of the 2020 National Youth Championship

On the afternoon of October 5, at Vinh Stadium, Nghe An, the Opening Ceremony of the Final Round of the Yamaha Cup 2020 National Youth Football Tournament took place.

Attending the Opening Ceremony of the Final Round of the Yamaha Cup 2020 National Youth Football Tournament were leaders and a large number of spectators and fans:

On behalf of the tournament host, there were Mr. Bui Dinh Long - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ms. Tran Thi My Hanh - Director of the Department of Culture and Sports and representatives and leaders of departments and branches of Nghe An province.

On the side of the Vietnam Football Federation, there were Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan - Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Football Federation; Mr. Tran Minh Ngoc - Deputy General Secretary of the Vietnam Football Federation.

On behalf of the Young Pioneers and Children Newspaper, there was Mr. Nguyen Phan Khue - Member of the Central Council of the Young Pioneers, Editor-in-Chief of the Young Pioneers and Children Newspaper - Head of the Organizing Committee of the tournament, along with representatives of sponsors, audiences, and fans.

The National Youth and Children's Football Tournament is an official tournament of the Vietnam Football Federation. The sports playground for U13 and U11 age groups has been successfully organized by the Tien Phong and Children's Newspaper - an agency under the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union for the past 24 consecutive years.

This year, the 2020 National Youth Football Tournament Finals had an outstanding participation of 37 Youth football teams from 30 provinces and cities.

The Final Round of the 2020 National Youth Football Tournament will take place in Vinh City - Nghe An, from October 3 to October 16 with the participation of 16 best teams, including: Than Quang Ninh, Hanoi, Hai Duong, PVF, T&T VSH, Thua Thien Hue, SHB Da Nang, QNK Quang Nam, HAGL, B. Binh Duong, Tay Ninh, Juventus VN, Long An, Dong Thap, Dak Lak and host SLNA.

Right after the Opening Ceremony of the Final Round of the Yamaha Cup 2020 National Youth Football Tournament, the defending champions U13 Song Lam Nghe An and U13 Hoang Anh Gia Lai delivered an exciting match with the dominance of the home team players.
