Song Lam Nghe An was honored as the club with the most young players participating in the National Championship.

On the afternoon of July 1 in Hanoi, the V.League Awards 2025 ceremony took place, concluding an emotional 2024/25 National Professional Football season, marking the 25th anniversary of the formation and development of Vietnamese professional football.

At the ceremony, Song Lam Nghe An Club was honored as the club with the most young players participating in the National Football Championship in the 2024/25 season. This title not only recognizes the Nghe An team's efforts in developing young players, but also affirms the club's long-term strategic vision in training and using domestic players.

Song Lam Nghe An’s receipt of this prestigious title demonstrates the team’s strong commitment to investing in the next generation, a key factor in helping Vietnamese football develop sustainably and integrate internationally. In a context where more and more clubs rely on foreign players or experienced players, Song Lam Nghe An’s choice to use young players is a strong legacy, identity and tradition.

Speaking at the award ceremony, Mr. Tran Anh Tu - Chairman of the Board of Directors of VPF Company affirmed: "Each season ends with a journey full of effort, enthusiasm, responsibility and dedication from individuals and groups. The 2024/25 season has a more special meaning as it marks 25 years of formation and development of Vietnamese professional football - a journey marking the maturity and readiness to adapt of the country's football in the context of the country entering an era of strong growth".

This season has witnessed many memorable milestones: more than 90% of matches in V.League 1 have applied VAR technology, helping to improve transparency and professionalism in the management. Not only that, VAR has also been used in key matches of the First Division and National Cup, demonstrating the continuous improvement efforts of the Organizing Committee.

Besides the title of Song Lam Nghe An, many important categories were awarded such as:
- Best player of V.League: Alan (Hanoi Police).
- Best young player in V.League: Le Van Thuan (Dong A Thanh Hoa).
- V.League top scorer: Alan (Hanoi Police), Lucao (Hai Phong).
- Best goal in V.League: Nguyen Huu Thang (The Cong Viettel).
- Best player of the First Division: Nguyen Hoang Duc (Phu Dong Ninh Binh).
- Top scorer of the First Division: Luu Tu Nhan (Binh Phuoc).
- Best young player of the First Division: Nguyen Hieu Minh (PVF-CAND).
- Best referee: Mai Xuan Hung (bronze), Tran Dinh Thinh (silver), Hoang Ngoc Ha (gold).
- Best assistant referee: Nguyen Lam Minh Dang (bronze), Nguyen Trung Viet (Silver), Nguyen Thanh Son (gold).
