Song Lam Nghe An signs contract with Brazilian fitness coach

First season in chargeLam River Nghe AnCoach Huy Hoang recognized many limitations in the Nghe An club. Among them, the problem of players' physical fitness is one of the weaknesses that SLNA really wants to improve in the next season.

"Through the 2022 season, we realized that Song Lam Nghe An's problem was poor physical strength. In order to overcome the above limitations, Song Lam Nghe An decided to invite Mr. Tiago Jose Almeida Goncalves to train the players' physical strength.

Coach Tiago Almeida was born in 1984, Brazilian. He graduated from the Faculty of Physical Training at FAP University and Sports Psychology at Uninter Center (Brazil), and was awarded a Physical Training Certificate in Germany. In addition, Coach Tiago Almeida has a C, B certificate issued by the Brazilian Football Confederation and a Level 2 Physical Training Certificate issued by the Asian Football Confederation.

Since 2014, he has worked with football teams in Germany, Korea, UAE and Thailand.

Last 2022 season, Coach Tiago Almeida was part of the coaching staff of Dibba Club in the UAE National Championship and the UAE U23 Team.

The presence of fitness coach Tiago is one of the breakthrough steps of Song Lam Nghe An. Up to now, the Nghe An team has never had a proper fitness coach. Hopefully, the presence of Mr. Tiago will strengthen all three lines of Song Lam Nghe An.

Coach Huy Hoang shared: "We hope that coach Tiago will help Song Lam Nghe An Team 1 have the best physical condition for this season and the following seasons. I also hope that his presence at Song Lam Nghe An will help coaches have more good and scientific ways to do physical work for young players."

The contract between Song Lam Nghe An and Coach Tiago Almeida takes effect from December 2022./.
