Division 324: Launching a peak emulation campaign

(Baonghean.vn)- On August 31, Division 324 held a launching ceremony for the peak emulation raid with the theme "Forever the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers in his homeland" to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Military Region's Armed Forces' tradition day and the emulation campaign "Dynamic, proactive; overcoming all difficulties; accurate advice; effective management and assurance" to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Military Finance Sector's tradition.

Attending the ceremony were Major General Nguyen Sy Hoi - Deputy Commander of Military Region 4, Major General Doan Ngoc Son - Deputy Political Commissar of the Military Region, delegates of the Military Region's agencies and leaders of the government, departments and unions of Nghi Long commune, Nghi Loc district.

Units signed a commitment to compete at a high level.

The peak emulation period took place from August 31 to December 31, 2015. At the launching ceremony, agencies and units signed the emulation with specific goals and targets: Breakthrough in building regulations, training discipline, ensuring safety, creating a strong change in awareness of compliance with State laws, military discipline, regulations of agencies and units. Education, training to raise awareness of compliance with laws, discipline, traditional education associated with propaganda activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Military Region's Armed Forces Tradition Day for officers, soldiers, civil servants and defense officials. Closely coordinate with localities and families to manage troops, grasp the development of troops' thoughts, build self-awareness in complying with the regime and performing tasks. Continuing to improve the effectiveness of mass mobilization work, contributing to maintaining political stability, social order and safety, strengthening military-civilian solidarity, building the image and good feelings of "Uncle Ho's Soldiers" with the people in the stationed area.

Also on this occasion, Division 324 held a ceremony to award the title "Hero of the People's Armed Forces" to comrade Dang Tho Truat, former 12.7mm machine gunner, Battery 2, Platoon 1, Company 3, Battalion 54, Division 324, now Battalion 16, Division 324.

Leaders of the Military Region Command, military region agencies, commander of Division 324, Nghi Long commune government, Nghi Loc district and the family of Hero Dang Tho Truat took a souvenir photo.

With his outstanding achievements, comrade Dang Tho Truat was awarded by the Party and State with 3 Second and Third Class Military Exploit Medals, 5 times the title of Heroic Aircraft Destroyer, 2 times the title of Heroic Determined to Win, 1 time the title of Heroic American Destroyer, 2 times the title of Emulation Fighter and many certificates of merit... On August 10, 2015, the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam signed Decision No. 1673/QD-CTN to confer the title of "Hero of the People's Armed Forces" on comrade Dang Tho Truat.
