Division 324 (Military Region 4) gives gifts to people in flood-hit areas of Huong Khe

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 18, the working delegation of Division 324 (Military Region 4) led by Colonel Trinh Van Hung, Political Commissar of the Division, directly transported and donated 140 gifts, worth 100,000 VND (including rice, instant noodles and 1,000 bottles of purified water) to support flood victims in Huong Khe district, Ha Tinh province.

The delegation came to encourage, visit and give gifts to policy families, single-parent families, families in difficult circumstances and encouraged officers and soldiers of the Division who are working with people to overcome the damage caused by floods.

The working group of Division 324 gave gifts to people in flooded areas in Huong Do commune, Huong Khe district.

To help people overcome the consequences of the flood, on October 17, the Division sent more than 300 officers and soldiers to the communes of Phuong My, Gia Pho, Loc Yen, and Huong Linh in Huong Khe district to help people after the flood. In particular, Huong Do commune, after 3 days of flooding, is still isolated. Many households had their roofs flooded and had to live on rafts, lacking food and drinking water.
