The 2017 Suzuki Swift will be officially sold in the UK and European markets with a starting price of only 10,999 pounds (about 321 million VND).

After being introduced at the Geneva Motor Show 2017, the new generation of the Japanese manufacturer's small car will be launched in the UK market on June 1.

In terms of size, the European version of the Suzuki Swift 2017 is larger than the Japanese model with overall dimensions (length x width x height) of 3,840mm x 1,735mm x 1,495mm. The luggage compartment volume of the car also increased by about 54 liters compared to the previous generation at 254 liters, to meet the general needs of European customers.

In terms of design, the European version of the Suzuki Swift retains the same style, with only a few changes in details such as the projector headlights with integrated LED daytime running lights right in the reflector while the taillights also use LED technology with a simple but effective design.

The top-of-the-line SZ5 trim level comes with a 4.2-inch LCD instrument cluster, forward collision warning, lane departure warning, high-beam assist, active cruise control, and a host of other useful features. It uses a mild hybrid engine and fuel-saving technology called Integrated Starter Generation, which acts as an integrated starter motor and generator. The car starts at £14,499.

In addition, the Japanese automaker also offers a 4-wheel drive (4WD) option, but only applies to the 1.2L engine version.
