Central Youth Union trains on poverty reduction in Que Phong
(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of October 29, the Central Youth Union's Rural Youth Development Support Center and the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee organized a training course for grassroots Youth Union officials working on poverty reduction in 2013 in Que Phong district.
Attending and directly teaching the class were comrade Nguyen Quoc Van - Deputy Director of the Central Youth Union's Center for Rural Youth Development Support, and Standing representative of Nghe An Provincial Youth Union.
At the training course, the Youth Union officials of 14 communes and towns discussed the following issues: Identifying poverty; Evaluating the results of the implementation of the National Target Program on Poverty Reduction for the period 2006 - 2010; Orientation for sustainable poverty reduction for the period 2011 - 2020; Instructions for implementing the joint program between the Youth Union and the Bank for Social Policies; Measures to promote the implementation of the Joint Program with the Bank for Social Policies; Instructions on basic contents on investigating and reviewing poor households; procedures for monitoring and evaluating the National Target Program on Poverty Reduction; Instructions on communication activities, dialogues to support poverty reduction; Instructions on loan procedures, capital use, and management of loan sources from the Bank for Social Policies; Contents in new rural construction; Youth Union participation in poverty reduction, new rural construction and some other important contents...
