Also on this occasion, continuing the investment progress of the project with the formation of facilities, cultural spaces of villages, hamlets, and hamlets of ethnic groups, the Management Board of the Cultural Tourism Village of Vietnamese Ethnic Groups will organize the inauguration of the Khmer pagoda complex in the South.

To highlight the theme of building and developing an advanced Vietnamese culture imbued with national identity, the Northern National Conference "Summary of 15 years of implementing Directive No. 24/1998/TTg dated June 19, 1998 of the Prime Minister on building and implementing village, hamlet, village, and residential area conventions" was held together with the workshop "Solutions to preserve and promote traditional costumes of ethnic minorities in the current period" with the participation of researchers, cultural managers, village elders, village chiefs, intellectuals, and artisans. In addition, there were activities: Central Highlands creative camp; great solidarity exchange among Vietnamese ethnic groups; exhibition "Introducing Vietnam's traditional kite heritage" and some traditional craft villages of handicrafts and cuisine in Hanoi.

Ethnic communities in the localities have focused their efforts on elaborate preparations to recreate their ethnic rituals and festivals during the festival week at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism, in order to demonstrate all the quintessential and unique cultural features. Notable among them are the Cam Muong Festival of the Lu ethnic group (Lai Chau); the Central Highlands gong performance of the Gia Rai ethnic group; the housewarming ceremony of the Ta Oi ethnic group (Quang Tri); the Nang Hai Festival of the Tay ethnic group (Cao Bang); the Xip Xi Tet ritual of the Thai ethnic group (Son La); the bride welcoming ceremony on the wedding day of the Mong ethnic group (Ha Giang); the Ok Om Bok Festival of the Khmer people in the South...

This year, the organizers also recreated the Seven Mountains Ox Racing Festival of the Khmer people in An Giang and the cultural space of the Southern floating market. The re-enactment of unique cultural spaces further increases the appeal of the festival. Festival participants will be immersed in the northern highland markets with colorful local specialties in the sweet folk songs and captivating flute and panpipe melodies. The cultural space of the market of the ethnic communities this time becomes even more unique when recreating the image of the Southern floating market on Dong Mo Lake, bringing people to a vast river area, bustling boats, and abundant fruits.

After the art program with many unique and attractive performances on the opening night, throughout the "Great Unity of Ethnic Groups - Vietnamese Cultural Heritage" Week, there were cultural exchange programs and art performances in each ethnic village.
