Serious traffic accident in Dien Yen, Dien Chau
(Baonghean) -At 12:30 p.m. on September 8, at km 413+500 on National Highway 1A, through Dien Yen commune, Dien Chau district, Nghe An, a serious traffic accident occurred between a passenger car and a tractor-trailer.
The tractor with license plate 16L 6951 pulling a semi-trailer 16R 2951, driven by Mr. Le Duc Quang, born in 1979, residing in Hung Tien commune, Nam Dan, Nghe An, was traveling on National Highway 1A in the direction of Hanoi - Vinh. When reaching the above section of the road, while avoiding oncoming traffic, it crashed into the back of a passenger car traveling in the same direction with license plate 17B 000.07. The passenger car of An Binh Company Limited - Hoa Binh province was driven by Mr. Bui Ngoc Linh, born in 1961, residing in Vu Quy commune (Kien Xuong, Thai Binh).
The accident caused the semi-trailer to completely damage the cabin.
The accident caused severe damage to the entire cabin of the tractor-trailer and the rear of the passenger car. Fortunately, the accident did not cause any casualties.
After the accident, Traffic Police Station 1-5 and Dien Chau District Police quickly coordinated to control traffic flow to avoid traffic congestion on the above road section. Currently, the two cars have been towed to Dien Chau District Traffic Police for handling.
