Traffic accident on Mai Hac De street (Vinh city)

(Baonghean.vn) - At about 9:15 p.m. yesterday, March 20, on a one-way street opposite the Green Hotel (Mai Hac De Street, Vinh City), a serious accident occurred between a motorbike with license plate 38F1-00749 and a car with license plate 37B-00113, seriously injuring the motorbike driver.

Witnesses at the scene said: At that time, the car driven by Nguyen Khac Dung (born in 1978, residing in Hung Dung ward, Vinh city) was traveling in the North - South direction.

At the above location, the motorbike driven by Mr. Nguyen Dang Hoang (born in 1989, permanent resident of Group 2, Block 8, Hong Linh Town, Ha Tinh) carrying Ms. Lo Thi Tra My (born in 1992, from Ky Son, currently a second-year student at Vinh University), went the wrong way on a one-way street and crashed head-on into the car. After the strong collision, Mr. Dung was seriously injured, Ms. My was thrown nearly 10m away. People promptly took the victim to the provincial General Hospital for emergency treatment, and Vinh City police quickly arrived at the scene to handle the incident.

The cause of the accident is currently being investigated by the authorities.
