According to witnesses, at that time, a 5-seat car with license plate 37V - 4276 traveling from North to South on National Highway 1A, in front of the gate of the Cultural Village of Hamlet 5, Nghi Lien Commune, crashed head-on into a Hoang Long passenger car traveling from South to North.

As a result, the front of the 37V-4276 vehicle was crushed, the vehicle was completely damaged, the driver was seriously injured and was promptly taken to the emergency room by local people. The Hoang Long passenger vehicle had a corner on the driver's side fall off, fortunately all passengers on the vehicle were safe. After the accident, the 37V-4276 vehicle had an electrical short circuit and caught fire, fortunately the Nghi Kim police and militia were able to promptly put out the fire and protect the scene, clearing the traffic jam.
