Plane crash in Ukraine, 5 people died

On June 10, Ukrainian officials said a serious plane crash had just occurred near the country's capital Kiev, killing five people and injuring 13 others.

According to the spokeswoman of the Ukrainian Ministry of Emergency Situations, Yulia Yershova, the L-410 aircraft owned by a pilot training school had to make an emergency landing and crashed at Borodyanka airport, 30 km west of the capital Kiev, in bad weather and strong winds.

The plane was carrying 16 skydivers and two crew members. The injured were taken to hospital for treatment. The cause of the accident is being clarified./.
