Plane crash: Military rank promotion for fallen soldier

Major General Le Manh Hung - Political Commissar of the Capital Command said that he will promote the ranks of the comrades who died in the plane crash on the morning of July 7 and carry out procedures to recognize martyrs according to regulations.

According to Major General Le Manh Hung, the rear work was deployed immediately after the accident occurred. In addition to bringing the soldiers' relatives to Hanoi and doing ideological work, in the immediate future, the ranks of the fallen comrades will be promoted, their families will be subsidized, and their relatives will be properly accommodated at the hospital.

At the same time, carry out procedures to recognize martyrs for comrades who have sacrificed their lives in accordance with regulations.

Injured soldiers are being treated at the hospital.

On July 8, authorities also officially announced the list of soldiers killed and injured in the plane crash in Hoa Lac (Hanoi).

According to Major General Le Manh Hung, all of the soldiers who died were between 30 and 35 years old, with two soldiers in the crew holding the ranks of Lieutenant Colonel and Lieutenant Colonel.

Most of them have small children 2-3 years old, 6 months old, or pregnant wives.

Of the 16 students on board the crashed plane, 6 were from the Air Defense - Air Force, 10 were from the Hanoi Capital Command, of which 7 died, and 3 are currently at the National Burn Institute.

The Capital Command has done ideological work, that the soldiers sacrificed while on duty, the Party, State and Army honor you comrades. The families and relatives of the soldiers are assured to coordinate well with the units to do the next steps.

It is known that on Friday (July 11), the Capital Command in coordination with the Air Defense - Air Force will hold a collective memorial service for the fallen soldiers.
