Advance payment of over 365 billion VND to support housing for meritorious people
The Prime Minister has just assigned the Ministry of Finance to advance 365,575 billion VND from the central budget to localities to complete housing support for households with revolutionary contributions.

According to Decision 22/2013/QD-TTg dated April 26, 2013 of the Prime Minister on supporting people with revolutionary contributions in housing, the state budget supports 40 million VND/household in cases where houses must be demolished to build new houses; supports 20 million VND/household to repair wall frames and replace roofs.
According to regulations, in 2013, the People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities must basically complete housing support for households with revolutionary contributions according to the list of localities that reported to the National Assembly Standing Committee's Supervisory Delegation in 2012 (including 53 localities, the number of households needing housing support is 72,153 households).
The Ministry of Finance said that for the 72,153 households mentioned above, the central budget needs to allocate 2,232.075 billion VND. Up to now, only 1,866.5 billion VND has been allocated, leaving a shortage of 365.575 billion VND.
According to the proposal of the Ministry of Finance, the Prime Minister assigned the Ministry to advance 365,575 billion VND from the central budget to localities to complete housing support for households with revolutionary contributions according to the list reported to the National Assembly Standing Committee's Supervisory Delegation in 2012. At the same time, assigned the Ministry of Finance to notify localities for implementation.
The Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Planning and Investment to preside over and coordinate with the Ministry of Finance and relevant agencies to arrange in the 2015 plan and the following years to recover advanced capital according to regulations./.
