(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of June 13, in Tan An and Tan Ky communes, the Tan An Commune Youth Union organized the opening of a swimming class for primary and secondary school students in Tan An commune.

A stream flowing through the commune has been blocked by the Youth Union and the Commune Cultural Committee with swimming buoys to serve as a bathing and swimming practice area for students from now until the end of July.

Currently, in addition to the time spent helping their families, during the summer vacation, primary and secondary school students lack recreational activities. It is known that Tan An is one of the semi-mountainous communes, not counting the number of ponds in each family, the whole commune has a total of 51 large and small lakes and dams, so the risk of drowning for children is very high.

Organizing swimming lessons for children in the area not only creates a useful playground but also helps children avoid drowning during the summer. Many parents in the area support and hope to expand to other hamlets and communes in the area./.
