Knife attack at Chinese train station, 6 injured
AFP news agency quoted Chinese police as saying that six people were injured in a knife attack at a train station on May 6 in the southern city of Guangzhou.
Guangzhou city police said police shot one of the men involved in the violent attack.

All six injured people were taken to hospital for emergency treatment.
According to the People's Daily, there were four attackers wearing white hats in the incident. Police had to open fire after they ignored warnings.
The newspaper said one perpetrator died, one was captured and two escaped.
Images of the attack in Guangzhou were circulated on Chinese social media sites, with many expressing outrage and shock.
A photo on Sina Weibo shows a bloodied man being carried by three other people as many people stand around and watch.
Another photo shows hundreds of people gathered outside the station's main square, which is cordoned off by police.
“Guangzhou has become unsafe!” one person wrote on Weibo. “Next time I see someone wearing a white hat, I will run far away.”
According to Voice of China radio, an attacker slashed one victim in the neck. At least two of the victims were women.
This is the latest attack in a series of knife massacres in public places in China in recent times.
Earlier, on the morning of March 14, a group of people armed with knives attacked people on the streets of Changsha city, the capital of Hunan province, central China, killing 5 people.
Two weeks earlier, a knife massacre at the Kunming train station, capital of Yunnan province, also left 29 people dead./.
