According to the source, the knife attack occurred at around 3am GMT (10am on May 10 Vietnam time), leaving one person dead and several others seriously injured. The victims were all men. Police have arrested the perpetrator.

Local media quoted witnesses as saying the perpetrator shouted "Allahu Akbar" (God is Great) while attacking the victims.

Allahu Akbar is a phrase that has been frequently used by Islamic Jihadists in recent terrorist attacks.

In recent times, Germany, which plays a supporting role in the fight against the self-proclaimed Islamic State (IS) group, has never witnessed major attacks carried out by Islamic jihadists in the country, such as the recent attacks in France and Belgium./.
