Tan Phu (Tan Ky): Receiving certificate of recognition of commune meeting NTM standards

(Baonghean.vn) - On May 18, 2015, Tan Phu commune, Tan Ky district held a ceremony to receive the certificate of recognition as a commune meeting new rural standards in 2014 and awarded a certificate of merit from the Prime Minister.

Over the past 4 years, the Party Committee and the government of Tan Phu commune have creatively and flexibly applied the policies of the superiors on the new rural construction program in accordance with the actual conditions of the locality and with the solidarity and positive response of the people, they have aroused the combined strength to complete the 19 new rural criteria.

The locality has chosen economic development as a breakthrough criterion to complete other criteria, thanks to which many economic models with high income have appeared. At the end of 2014, the average income per capita of Tan Phu commune reached more than 25 million VND/year, this is the locality with the highest average income per capita in Tan Ky district, the poverty rate is only 2.9%.

In recent years, the locality has promoted its internal resources to build new rural areas. Of the total 256.5 billion VND that Tan Phu commune has mobilized to build new rural areas, the people have contributed more than 191 billion VND. Up to now, the infrastructure of Tan Phu commune has been gradually completed and modernized. 12/12 hamlets have community cultural houses, schools, medical stations, and roads have been upgraded to meet national standards, meeting the needs of local people. With these results, on December 31, 2014, Tan Phu commune was recognized by the Provincial People's Committee as a commune meeting new rural standards. This is the second unit of Tan Ky district to reach the new rural area.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Dinh Viet Hong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee praised and congratulated the Party Committee and people of Tan Phu commune for successfully building a new rural area, and at the same time requested that in the coming time, the locality continue to develop the achievements of building a new rural area, bringing the criteria to a higher and more sustainable level and quality. Focus on developing production, paying attention to developing high-tech agriculture. Continue to invest in developing infrastructure to serve production and people's lives. Promote the strength of the great national unity bloc in the movement to build a new rural area associated with patriotic emulation movements.

On this occasion, Mr. Dinh Viet Hong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded the Prime Minister's Certificate of Merit to the people of Tan Phu commune, and also awarded the Certificate of Recognition of the commune meeting the new rural standards and a bonus of 550 million VND from the Provincial People's Committee to Tan Phu commune; awarded the Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to 4 collectives and 3 individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement "Nghe An joins hands to build new rural areas". Also on this occasion, the leaders of Tan Ky district awarded certificates of merit to 2 collectives and 2 individuals.
